Google has just released a new beta version for the Android version of Maps, armed with features that are not available in the stable version. This feature allows Google Maps users to manually add and delete places they've visited.

Previously, in the stable version of Google Maps app, on the Your Places and Visited tabs, there was a list of places the user had visited. However, tapping on point three on the right side of the place will not allow the user to delete it, the user can only see places in the Timeline.

Meanwhile, this new Google Maps beta version comes with the Remove button, allowing users to delete all the locations visited from the Timeline. Unfortunately, this feature cannot remove the entire route used to reach the destination.

This feature only removes the location as a stop location, so the entire route will still show up in the timeline. Google announced a new version of the Android Wear SDK, 2.2.0, letting developers add a number of new features to Android Watch's smartwatch operating system.

Google also released a feature that allows users to disable reminder ads with a maximum period of 90 days. Reminder ads are ads that appear and persuade users to buy something.
