Telegram Now Supports Streaming Video

Sending videos via instant messaging on smartphones is definitely not a new feature, WhatsApp, Telegram, and various other apps can do it.

But Telegram has a new feature related to the delivery of video content through the network. That is the user does not need to download the video it receives, and can directly watch it by streaming. What's the difference?

Downloading a video means moving the full video into the phone, once the video has just been watched. While streaming means users can instantly watch their videos without downloading, just like watching videos on YouTube.

You could say this is a pretty important feature because sometimes we do not know whether the video we receive is feasible or not to watch. Because it can be watched by streaming, we can determine whether to watch the video until it runs out or not.

In addition to streaming video, telegram for Android is also updated with the auto-night mode, which is similar to night or dark mode in other apps, where apps will change the color theme to dark colors to be more comfortable to wear at night. The difference, in Telegram, this mode will be activated automatically when the light around the phone is quite dim.
